Aquatic Management Group is committed to providing the safest swim club environment, and that starts with our phenomenal staff and training. That’s why we train lifeguards with the American Red Cross. Our lifeguard instructors will masterfully guide you through the course to prepare you for aquatic emergencies. We’re so excited to start working with you!

PreReq Deposit: $45
Course Cost: $299
Requirements:
Must be 15 years of age or older
Must successfully complete all blended learning no less than 24 hours prior to the first skills session.
Must successfully complete all written, individual, and team response testing.
Must have completed AMG Group Information Session (Interview) prior to first skills session.

What’s a PreReq?
The PreReq is where we evaluate your swimming and stamina skills. The cost for this session is $45. Don’t worry, if you don’t pass the first time, you can continue to try at later dates or apply your deposit to our First Aid/CPR class! And don’t stress, our experienced instructors will guide you along the way.
Participants will swim 150 yards, tread for 2 minutes without the use of their hands, and then swim 50 more. Following the swim, participants will complete the brick dive.

Following the successful completion of the prerequisites, participants are able to sign up for the course.
The course involves all online learning, skills sessions, and testing to become a lifeguard. This will take place on a Saturday and Sunday following the PreReq.

1. Pre-requisite testing
Sign up using the links above to schedule your pre-requisite testing.

2. Blended Learning
Complete your online blended learning following successful completion of your prerequisite swim testing.

3. Skills Session
Attend all in-person skills sessions. Participants must complete blended learning prior to the first skills session.

4. Receive and Upload Certification
Upload your certification to Paycom and ensure your onboarding checklist is complete.

Frequently asked questions

Participants should wear their AMG uniform to training. If you have not yet received your uniform, it is recommended participants wear swim trunks/suits designed to withstand jumps, turns, and high-impact movements.
