POSITION OVERVIEW

Locations: Raleigh Area, Greensboro Area

Department: Staffing Operations

Reports To: Pool Manager

Aquatic Management Group snack bar attendants are friendly, responsible, and member-focused, ensuring an enjoyable experience for members and guests of our community partners. Candidates must be proactive, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills, providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and efficient snack bar environment. As a Snack Bar Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to assist with food preparation, serve members and guests, and ensure the snack bar operates smoothly and safely.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer Service: Greet members, residents, and guests with a friendly attitude. Take orders accurately, answer questions, and assist with menu recommendations.

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve menu items such as microwaved foods, chips, drinks, , in compliance with AMG food safety standards.

  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the snack bar and surrounding area are clean and free of debris. Clean equipment, workstations, and dining areas regularly, adhering to AMG safety guidelines.

  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed. Notify the manager of any shortages or equipment issues.

  • Order Fulfillment: Ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered to customers efficiently.

  • Cash Handling: Operate the cash register or point-of-sale system, manage transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow attendants and other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

  • Compliance: Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Age Requirement: 14 years of age or older.

  • Certifications: Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid First Aid/CPR/AED from in-person accredited provider.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to handle orders accurately and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.

  • Customer Service: Friendly, approachable, and capable of resolving customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.

  • Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and maintain coordination during busy periods.

  • Flexibility: Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods.

  • Ability to lift and carry light to moderate loads (up to 25 lbs.).

  • Manual dexterity for operating kitchen equipment and handling food items.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Indoor or outdoor snack bar environment.

  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including heat from kitchen equipment.

  • May require working mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

COMPENSATION:

  • Hourly wage: $9.00/hr. Pay may vary based on location and experience.
